Veterinary Associates Equine and Farm offers two, 12 month, rotating internships for graduated veterinarians. One commences in January, and the other in July of each year.

The interns perform both in-hospital and ambulatory duties, and mentor ship is constant for the first several months and readily-available thereafter. The interns join our team comprised of twelve veterinarians, including another intern, a board-certified surgeon, a board certified internist, six nurses, and two office staff. The practice is heavily involved in all types of equine pursuits and has a large surgical, medical, and reproductive caseload, providing a tremendous variety of work. The intern will be given a broad-reaching education and will be provided the skills to become an exemplary equine veterinarian. The program is designed such that the intern, upon completion of the program, would be prepared to enter directly into a position in a private practice setting or as an applicant into a residency program.

Refer to our job opportunities page for further information.
